Privacy Policy – Microphone Access

Last Updated: March 18, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Ravewave application (“the App”) uses microphone access.

Microphone Permission and Usage

The App may request access to your device’s microphone strictly to capture real-time audio input for the purpose of generating and displaying audio-reactive visuals and interactive visual effects.

No Recording or Storage of Audio

The App does not record, store, save, transmit, or share any audio captured from the microphone.

Audio input is processed in real time only to drive visual elements within the App. Once the audio signal has been used to render visuals, it is immediately discarded and cannot be retrieved.

No Background Listening

Microphone access is only active while the relevant visual feature is in use. The App does not access the microphone in the background or when the feature is not actively enabled by the user.

Data Sharing

Because no audio data is recorded or stored, the App does not sell, rent, or share microphone data with any third parties.

User Control

You can enable or disable microphone access at any time through your device’s permission settings. Disabling microphone access will prevent audio-reactive visual features from functioning.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last Updated” date.

Ravewave processes audio locally in real time solely to create visuals. No audio is recorded or stored.
